Saigon, now HCM City, is famous for its landmark buildings such as the Municipal Theatre, Caravelle hotel and Tax Trading Centre. Despite many ups and downs, these buildings have stood the test of time and become important symbols of the city.

Caravelle is now upgraded into a five-star hotel.
The four-storey building is Continental Hotel. Before 1975, this area was popular with reporters, military officials, and intellectuals.
The Theatre viewed from Le Loi Street. Traffic lights in 1972 (above) no longer exist. The architecture in this area, considered central Saigon during the French regime, is typical Indochinese style.

Tax Trading Centre, was constructed by France 130 years ago, is a symbol of Saigonese people. It will be closed within the next two months for a metro network and a new trading centre to take shape in the future.
