A delegation of leaders from the People’s Committee and Department of Health in Ho Chi Minh City on Feb. 21 called on Dr. Tran Dong A, former Deputy Director of Children Hospital No.2, to greet him on Vietnam Doctor’s Day.
The delegation was led by Hua Ngoc Thuan, Deputy Chairman of the City People’s Committee, to wish Dr. Tran Dong A good health on the occasion of Vietnam Doctor’s Day (February 27).
Dr. A told the delegation that the government had been following the right path in the past by reducing load in central hospitals by implementing measures such as more training, sending doctors from bigger hospitals to district level hospitals, establishing satellite medical clinics and expanding hospitals in the city.
Dr. A is not only a dedicated doctor but also is a person who has contributed much to improving the health sector in the country.
